In addition to fiberglass in-ground pool installation (Leisure Pools), Appalachian Pools opens and closes pools and provides pool maintenance, cleaning, and equipment services.

Seasonal Service Package

Weekly Full Service

1. General deck clearing,
2. Complete water testing and balance chemical levels (*chemicals billed separately),
3. Filter care and readings,

4. Brush pool sides and vacuum,

5. Check & clean skimmer baskets, and

6. Complete inspection report and includes basic water analysis (pH, Alk, and Cl). Left or emailed to homeowner.

Openings

1. Remove cover and clear of any debris for storage,
2. Complete water sampling,
3. Clean heavy debris from pool,
4. Clear antifreeze from lines,
5. Hook up pump and filter piping,
6. Inspect and hook up salt cell (*if cleaning is required, chemical will be billed separately),

7. Complete vacuuming, add first round of chemicals (*chemicals billed separately); and

8. Second day, complete final vacuum if needed, test water to see if polishing chemicals are required.

Closings

1. Remove all items from pool and deck area where cover is stored goes,
2. Final vacuum,
3. Add winter storage chemical,
4. Clear and prep all water lines, salt cell and filter for winter storage,
5. Place all pump and filter plugs into pump skimmer basket for storage, and

6. Place winter cover and tighten as needed.

Season Service Package

  • 20 Full Services (administered weekly):
  • 1 Opening
  • 1 Closing

Includes 10% discount for all services above

Additional services outside of the Season Services Package:

  • Service call – includes first half hour to complete water testing, pump inspection, or troubleshooting problem. Any additional time or chemical required or will be billed separately. All services and times along with findings and recommendations will be left or emailed to the pool owner.
  • Vacuums - includes pool side brushing.
    Sun-up to Sun-down Service – includes on-site water testing, water balancing (chemical
    additional cost) along with available chemical delivery.
  • Summer Fun Pool Party – includes the same care program as the Weekly Full Service the day before or morning of the party with a returning visit to repeat any or all services needed the following day.
  • Accident Response – includes cleaning any visual material from pool along with following the
    guidelines set by West Virginia’s Bureau for Public Health for recreational pools. Activity
    summary, super chlorination for a period based on pool size and pump rate. With a return visit to
    ensure chlorine levels are acceptable for pool entry.
